Heard the learned Advocates for the parties.

We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses show petitioner and co-accuseds assaulted the victim over bursting of cracker.

In view of the prima facie involvement of the petitioner in the crime, we are of the opinion this is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
