This is an application for expeditious hearing of a petition under Section 12(1) of the Guardian and Wards Act, 1890.

The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the said petition was heard in part on 3rd October, 2023 and the same has been fixed for hearing again on October 16, 2023.

In view of such submission of the learned advocate for the petitioner, CO 3261 of 2023 is disposed of by requesting the learned Additional District Judge, Fast Track Court No.1 at Barasat to take up the hearing of the petition under Section 12(1) of the Guardian and Wards Act, 1890 registered as Misc. Case No.187 of 2020 on the next date fixed and to dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible preferably by the end of December, 2023 without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the learned advocates for the parties on usual formalities.
