Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. Petitioner complains that the private respondents particularly the respondent no.4 is trying to extort money from the petitioner by foisting him in criminal case. Petitioner is afraid of false complaint and harassment of legal dispute as is reflected from the report of the Officer-in-Charge, Sagar Police Station. According to the said report, no complaint letter has been received at the Sagar Police Station from the petitioner either through registered post or by hand.

I have considered the nature of the dispute which is an absolutely family dispute and an apprehension of the petitioner to be falsely implicated in a criminal case. Having considered that a dispute is existing, I direct the police authorities to strictly act by adhering to the provisions of law and to ensure that unnecessarily

the present petitioner is not harassed because of frivolous complaints being filed against him. There is an enclosure to the report which reflects that certain developments have taken place. Since the petitioner and the private respondents are known to each other also, if other avenues have been explored by the petitioner and the private respondents, police authorities would see to that unnecessarily both the parties are not involved in criminal cases.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 22811 of 2025 is disposed of. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
