We have considered the materials on record including the statement of the minor victim. Her statement implicates the petitioner in the offence of penetrative sexual assault. She is aged about 7 years.

In view of the aforesaid incriminating material and gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
