Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today is taken on record.

The petitioners seek release of payment of the amount in terms of the work order dated 25th February, 2021 in connection with work order for Serial No. 16of NIT No. 437/PWD/ROAD/BMC dated 27.01.2021. Tender ID: 2021_MAD_320151_16.

Representation filed by the petitioners is pending consideration at the end of the Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation.

Without entering into the merit of the claim of the petitioners, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Commissioner, Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation to consider the representation made by the petitioners in accordance with law, after giving a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioners at

the earliest, but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order. If any amount is found due and payable, the same shall be released at the earliest.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners is directed to forward a copy of the representation dated 14th August, 2023, work order dated 25th February, 2021 and other documents in support of the claim to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating the order of the Court.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
