Versus

The State of West Bengal & Ors.

Mr. Debabrata Acharyya Mr. Sital Samanta ..for the petitioner Mr. Moloy Singh Ms. Pratiti Das ... for the State Affidavit of service filed by the petitioner and report submitted by the State are taken on record.

The sole grievance of the petitioner is that he was not given a copy of the warrant of arrest by the Garbeta Police Station. He was only informed that a case is pending against him before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court No. 2, Pune, Maharashtra.

Report submitted by the State is accompanied by a copy of the warrant of arrest demonstrating the substance of the warrant. Copy of the report along with the warrant of arrest is made over to the learned counsel for the petitioner in Court this day.

The petitioner undertakes to surrender before the learned Court at Maharashtra within two weeks from date. Since nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the writ petition, the same is disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
