He seeks regularisation of his service.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the Block Development Officer, Raghunathpur-I Development Block by a letter dated December 21, 2021, forwarded the name of the petitioner to the District Panchayat & Rural Development Officer, Purulia for enhancement of the financial and other benefits in terms of Finance Department Memo No. 9008-F (P) dated September 16, 2011.

It is the grievance of the petitioner that though subsequently, the District Magistrate, Purulia forwarded the names of some casual employees of the said Panchayat Samity to the Special Officer of the Govt. of West Bengal for extending the benefits of the order dated September 16, 2011, the name of the petitioner was not included in the

list.

In view of the aforesaid facts, I dispose of this writ petition with a direction upon the District Panchayat & Rural Development, Purulia to forward the name of the petitioner to the District Magistrate, Purulia for extending the benefit of the aforesaid order, if the petitioner is otherwise eligible for the same, within a period of one month from the date of communication of this order. Needless to mention that if the petitioner's name is communicated to the District Magistrate, Purulia, he will take further steps in accordance with law within one month thereafter.

WPA 22344 of 2023 is disposed of.
