Mr. Ranadeb Sengupta, Mr. SAchit Talukdar ...for the petitioner Mr. Amitesh Banerjee, Mr. Debangshu Dinda ...for the State The petitioner alleges that no steps have been taken by the investigating agency, except registration of a First Information Report pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner.

It appears from the record that the First Information Report was registered some times in the month of March, 2021.

Mr. Banerjee, learned Senior Standing Counsel submits that the investigation is at its fag end and the charge sheet will be submitted within a week from date.

The petitioner has prayed for a direction upon the investigating agency to conclude the investigation expeditiously.

In view of the submission made by Mr.

Banerjee, there is nothing further, which is required

to the decided in this writ petition. Recording the submissions of Mr. Banerjee, the writ petition stands disposed of.

The petitioner will be at liberty to take appropriate steps before the jurisdictional court in case the petitioner is aggrieved.

With the above observations and directions, this writ petition stands disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance of necessary formalities.
