This is a writ petition of the year 2009 praying for releasing the sum assured amounting to Rs.1,20,000/- on account of death of one Sikha Halder together with statutory interest. The writ petition was filed sometimes in the month of September, 2009. The writ petitioners were not represented, when the matter was called on for hearing on 14th December, 2009, 12th April, 2010, 9th August, 2010, 24th December, 2021 and 27th January, 2022 as well as today.

Thus, it appears that the petitioners are not interested to move the instant writ petition and it also appears that nothing survives to be decided in the instant writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed for default.
