Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

The complaint which was lodged by the petitioner before the West Bengal Clinical Establishment Regulatory Commission was disposed of by judgment dated 30th January, 2023 whereby the Commission was of the opinion that the matter should go to the West Bengal Medical Council to decide

whether the line of treatment offered by the treating doctors was appropriate.

The matter was taken up by the West Bengal Medical Council and the Committee of Penal and Ethical Cases took up the same for hearing on 15th April, 2024. Copy of the notice for appearance before the said committee was forwarded to the petitioner with request to appear.

Grievance of the petitioner is that since thereafter the petitioner has not been made aware of the fate of her complaint.

Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the Medical Council submits that six months' time will be required for passing a final order in the matter. 6.

Upon hearing the parties, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the West Bengal Medical Council to finally dispose of the complaint filed by the petitioner positively by 30th May, 2025. The fate of the complaint shall be made known to the petitioner immediately thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
