The petitioner complains of certain resistance being made by the local cable operators.

However, there were no objection from the WBSEDCL as well as the Municipal Authorities concerned.

A report has been submitted by the State which reflects that regarding the NOC from the Municipality, a letter for installation of FAT Boxes/laying of OFC/Date cables/Communication cables or

electric police under Chandannagar Division, WBSEDCL has been received in respect of the three areas.

The Inspector-in-charge of Chinsurah Police Station has categorically stated that in case of any obstructions being faced by the petitioner for execution of its work, all necessary police assistance will be rendered.

In view of the aforesaid, if the petitioner faces any inconveniences, they would report to the concerned police station, who would act according to the report so submitted before this Court.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 22654 of 2025 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Report submitted by the State be kept with the record. Copy of the report be handed over to the petitioner.
