Ct. No.17 This is a matter of shortfall in qualifying service. The petitioner retired on 31.10.2021. The total period of service is nine years eight months five days. The petitioner submits that the shortfall is about four months.

Hence, I direct the Principal Secretary, School Education Department, Government of West Bengal to look into the matter following the D.C.R.B. scheme in which the provision of condonation of shortfall is there.

After considering the same, the Principal Secretary, School Education Department will pass a reasoned order and communicate the same to the petitioner. Before passing the order an opportunity is to be given to the petitioner by the said Principal Secretary and the reasoned order is to be communicated to the petitioner by three weeks from the date of hearing.

With the above observation and direction this

writ application is disposed of.
