Learned advocate for the petitioners submits as follows. The petitioners are the owners of the property in question. The private respondent has been disturbing the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the property by the petitioners. The private respondent purportedly purchased the property from the same vendor. The vendor had filed a suit for cancellation of such forged deed. The matter was reported to the police, but no action was taken.

Learned advocate for the State submits as follows. The police have looked into the deed in question and enquired into its authenticity. It appears that the dispute is purely civil in nature. However, the police are keeping a close watch on the developments in the locality.

It appears that a civil dispute exists between the parties. If any of the parties wants to establish any further right in respect of the property, the same has to be done before a civil court.

The police shall keep a sharp vigil at the locale and ensure that no breach of peace takes place and to see that no order of a civil court is violated.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
