Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. Petitioners are aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities claiming that petitioner no.1 is a senior citizen who has lodged information for which Bansdroni P.S.

Case No.

dated 18.05.2025 has been registered for investigation. Petitioners first point out that in May 2025, Kolkata Police registered a case under the Indian Penal Code. It has also been pointed out that the belongings of the petitioners are at the premises where the petitioners are unable to enter.

Learned advocate appearing for the private respondent no.7 submits that he is no way involved in the alleged accusations, but has been implicated as a respondent in the writ petition.

State has submitted a report which reflects that on 21.06.2025, a notice under Section 94 of

BNSS was served upon the informant which was received on 23.06.2025. The same till date has not been complied with.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners would comply with the said notice within a fortnight. In case compliances are made by the petitioners, the concerned officer, investigating the case, would address the other issues which have been canvassed by the petitioners in the writ petition.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 22498 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
