Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner. 2.

The writ petitioner has filed a miscellaneous application bearing M.A. No. 847 of 2025 in O.A. No.978 of 2025.

The learned counsel for the writ petitioner submits that he had made a mention before the Central Administrative Tribunal, Kolkata Bench ('Tribunal' for short) for urgent listing of the matter. The Tribunal, however, has fixed the matter on 28.10.2025. He submits that since the petitioner has been pursuing this matter for a long time, direction be issued so that the Tribunal takes up the matter immediately.

We find that the M.A. application has been filed just recently challenging an order dated 01.08.2025. After filing of the matter, it was mentioned and immediately thereafter the writ petitioner is before this Court seeking a direction upon the Tribunal to take up the matter.

Having regard to the time lapse between filing of the original application and the present writ petition, which is hardly within a month of filing of the O.A. and having regard to the nature of relief arising for consideration in the M.A., we find no reason to pass any order in this regard.

It is needless to say that subject to the business of the Tribunal on board, the Tribunal is expected to proceed in the matter expeditiously.

The Writ Petition being W.P.C.T. No. 209 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
