It is the grievance of the petitioner that he has not been provided with the prescribed form required for making an application for an electricity connection for his submersible pump sets.

Learned Advocate appearing for the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) has produced a communication dated June 23, 2025, addressed to the petitioner, requesting him to apply in the prescribed form available at the office of WBSEDCL on all working days.

In view of the above, I do not find any justification to keep this writ petition pending. The petitioner shall be at liberty to collect the prescribed form and make an application in accordance with law.

Needless to mention, the application to be filed by the petitioner in the prescribed form shall be processed by the WBSEDCL in accordance with law.

Accordingly, WPA 22577 of 2025 is disposed of.

Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all legal formalities.
