Petitioner is in custody for 380 days. He submits there is delay in the matter. He prays for bail. 2.
Learned Advocate for State opposes the bail prayer. He submits case has been committed to the Court of Sessions.

We have considered the materials on record. There are ample evidence connecting the petitioner with the murder. Case has been committed to the Court of Sessions.

In view of gravity of the offence and materials on record implicating the petitioner in the crime, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

We request the Sessions Judge to take appropriate steps for consideration of charge and in the event charge is framed to take the proceeding to its logical conclusion without granting unnecessary adjournment.
