There were anomalies found in the FIR which was detected in the CCTV footages. The documents relating to the truck were kept at the police station without maintaining any formalities and were handed over to the owner of the truck by the police when the former went to take back the truck after it was

released by the learned Court.

The report also reflects that steps have been taken against the erring police officials.

So far as the police authorities are concerned, leave is sought for to submit a report in final form under Section 173 Cr.P.C.

Accordingly, the police authorities are directed to submit their report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. at the earliest.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 22414 of 2023 is disposed of.
