The petitioner had participated in the Selection process initiated by the Purulia District Primary School Council for recruitment of Assistant Teachers in primary schools of the District under the ex-servicemen category.

The petitioner is alleging that his score in the said selection test is above the cut-off marks but has not been given appointment.

The petitioner has a pending representation dated August 01, 2024 before the Chairman of the Council, the respondent no. 7 herein, the said representation forms part of the writ petition being Annexure 'P-13'.

The said respondent is directed to consider the said representation as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

W.P.A. 23193 of 2024 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs. Parties to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
