1. The petitioner complains of alleged inaction on the part of the Panjipara Police Outpost under Goal Pokhar Police Station, Uttar Dinajpur in respect of a complaint against the private respondent.

2. Admittedly, there is a civil suit pending in respect of a land between the petitioner and the private respondent being Title Suit No. 45 of 2019 before the learned 6th Civil Judge (Junior Division), Uttar Dinajpur.

3. There are other proceedings under the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955 pending between the parties.

4. This Court is of the view that the petitioner may seek appropriate injunction and enforcement thereof from the Civil Court. On the allegations of assault and other crimes against the private respondent, the petitioner may approach the jurisdictional Magistrate under Section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

5. Panjipara Police Outpost under Goal Pokhar Police Station, Uttar Dinajpur shall ensure that there is no breach of peace in the area.

6. With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

7. There will be no order as to costs.

8. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
