1. Materials on record implicate the petitioner in using the firearm to murder the victim.

2. Notwithstanding the other coaccused being on bail or anticipatory bail and notwithstanding the custody of the petitioner being at slightly in excess of one year six months, considering the gravity of the offence and the active role of the petitioner in the incident of murder and the materials on record, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

3. Prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

4. CRM(DB) 3106 of 2024 is dismissed.
