Mr. Md. Aammar Zaki ...for the petitioner Ms. Jhuma Chakraborty Mr. Suddhadev Adak ...for the State Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner ssi Ct 14 submits as follows. The petitioner is a victim of cyber fraud. She was promised 400 per cent return on her investment. On the basis of such assurances, she invested huge sums of money. For this, she had to take loans from her neighbors. She is in a fix now. The Investigating Agency has not been able to track the case for the last 1 1⁄2 years. Learned counsel for the State relies on the report and the voluminous case diary and submits as follows. The true expanse of the crime is so enormous and covers so many countries that it is taking some time to unearth the truth. However, already four bank accounts have been frozen where the money trail was found to lead to. Some of the domains are of China, some of India, Singapore, Hong Kong and other countries. Investigation is going on. Leads are being obtained. Notices under Section 41A of the Code of Criminal Procedure have been issued to all the bank account

holders. Raids have been conducted at different places in Delhi and other areas. It will take some time to conclude investigation.

I have heard the submissions of the learned counsels for the parties, perused the report, the writ petition and the case diary.

It appears that the Investigating Agency has taken necessary steps in investigating the alleged offences. The scope of investigation appears to be very wide indeed. The petitioner shall be at liberty to co-operate with such investigation.

Let the investigation be concluded expeditiously and in accordance with law.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
