Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner is aggrieved that no steps have been taken in respect of the representation made with the Officer-in-Charge, Basanti Police Station in respect of the consequences which she had to face near the court premises.

Mr. Sengupta learned advocate appearing on behalf of the State has submitted a report. Report reflects that prosecution under Section 351(2) of BNS has been initiated against respondent nos. 8 to 10. Having considered that the police authorities have already taken steps, I am of the view that the steps which have been taken should be taken to its logical conclusion.

At this stage no interference is called for. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.

If the petitioner has further grievance, it would be the liberty of the petitioner to approach the jurisdictional court in seisin of the matter. With the aforesaid observations WPA 23182 of 2024 is disposed of.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
