1. This contempt application has been filed alleging willful disobedience of the order and direction passed in WPA(P) 142 of 2023 dated 03.04.2023.

2. Mr. Siddiqui, learned Government counsel submitted that due to the Parliamentary Election the authority could not comply with the order within the time stipulated. However, proceedings are already being initiated and authority will definitely conclude the proceedings soon after the Parliamentary Election.

3. In the light of the stand taken by the respondent/alleged contemnor, the authority shall conclude the proceedings in terms of the said direction on or before 27.06.2024.

4. With the above direction, the contempt application is disposed of.
