Shabnam Farooqui, learned advocate empanelled with the State of West Bengal is directed to represent the State. Her appointment may be regularized by the concerned authorities. A copy of the writ petition be handed over to the learned advocate for the State.

Petitioner complains that a representation was furnished to the Officer-in-Charge of Kalyani Police Station on or about 08.08.2025, as the petitioner has been facing forceful attempts of being disposed at the behest of the private respondents. In spite of such information no steps have been taken by the police authorities.

Having considered the plight expressed by the petitioner, I direct the Officer-in-Charge of Kalyani Police Station to consider the representation of the petitioner to

the extent of ensuring that there is no violation of law and order and peace and tranquility is maintained. With the aforesaid observations WPA 22770 of 2025 is disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
