Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of information furnished by the petitioner to the police authorities, no steps have been taken. On the other hand, State has submitted a report which reflects that Uluberia PS Case No. 460/25 dated 23.09.2025 has been registered for investigation under section 318(4)/316(2) BNS, 2023. Petitioner prays for compliance of certain issues.

In view of the case having been registered very recently, I direct that if the petitioner is of the opinion that certain adherences are required, petitioner would approach the jurisdictional Magistrate who is in seisin of Uluberia PS Case No. 460/25.

The Investigating Officer will put in efforts and take the investigation of the case to its logical conclusion.

Since steps have been taken by the police authorities further pendency of the writ petition at this stage is unwarranted.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 22621 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report submitted be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.
