The writ petition was earlier listed on 07.10.2024 when none appeared for the petitioner. Mr. Dipanjan Datta, learned senior advocate appearing for the State submits that he has instruction that the writ petitioner is not interested to pursue with the present writ petition as there have been change of circumstances.

Having considered that there have been no efforts for the writ petitioner to pursue the present writ petition, I am of the view that if there are issues relating to the criminal cases being South Port P.S. Case No.104 of 2024 and South Port P.S. Case No.105 of 2024, the same be brought to the notice of jurisdictional court which is in seisin of the matter. As such, no further directions are warranted in the present case.

Accordingly, WPA 23266 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
