1. Petitioner submits she had gone to the bank to deposit currency believing it to be genuine. Accordingly, she prays for bail.

2. Learned Advocate for the State submits petitioner and her husband are involved in dealing in fake currency. Her husband was arrested in a case involving fake currency.

3. We have considered the materials on record. Husband of the petitioner was apprehended with fake currency notes. A separate case was registered. On the same day petitioner went to deposit a large volume of currency to the bank which were found to be fake. In view of the aforesaid materials on record, it appears petitioner and her husband are involved in dealing in fake currency.

4. Keeping in mind the gravity of offence and involvement of the petitioner therein, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
