The petitioner complains of illegal and unauthorized construction over thika property standing at B/11/H/3, Mahatma Sisir Kumar Sarani, Police Station-Shyampukur, Ward No. 7 of Kolkata Municipal Corporation.

The petitioner alleges that the complaint lodged before the respondent authorities have been taken up for consideration by the Special Officer (Building) and the said proceeding is continuing for a considerable period of time. Final order is yet to be passed by the Special Officer (Building).

None represents either the Corporation or the private respondents.

As it has been submitted that the matter is presently pending before the Special Officer (Building),

accordingly, the Executive Engineer (Building), Borough1 of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation is directed to intimate the concerned Special Officer that the proceeding to deal with the unauthorized construction shall be concluded at the earliest but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to all the parties.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
