In compliance with the direction of this Court West Bengal Board of Secondary Education has issued the Registration Certificate and the Admit Card for Madhyamik Examination 2024 to the wards of the petitioner.

In view of such development no further order need be passed in this matter.

However, the Board complains that the Headmasters of a large number of Schools have not complied with the requirement of its notice bearing No. D.S.(C)/241/23 dated December 29, 2023 and the Board prays for a general direction upon the Head of all such Institutions for compliance of the requirement of the said notification.

The Board has issued the said notification to obviate the recurring difficulty of issuing registration certificate to the students of the Board examination at a belated stage.

The Headmasters of all institutions are therefore directed to comply with the requirement of the said Notification within the month of February, 2024, if not already complied with.

The Board is directed to upload this order in its website immediately.

WPA 22479 of 2023 is thus disposed of without any order as to costs.
