And In Re : Jodu Sk @ Nur Salam Sk ..... petitioner Mr. Subhadeep Ghosh ...... for the petitioner Mr. Saibal Bapuli, APP Mr. Bibaswan Bhattacharya ...... for the State Petitioner is in custody for 255 days. He prays for bail. Statements of the witnesses implicate the petitioner in the murder.

In view the gravity of offence and Prima facie involvement of the petitioner therein, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Trial Court is directed to take steps to commit the case to the court of sessions at the earliest.

Accordingly, prayer for bail is rejected.
