Petitioner submits he is not the principal accused. He is in custody for 140 days. He prays for bail.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record.

Petitioner hatched a conspiracy with others and had defrauded a number of victims.

In view of the gravity of offence and prima facie involvement of the petitioner therein, we are of the opinion that this is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
