Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that inspite of informing the police authorities no action has been taken, although he has been subjected to harassment at the hands of the private respondents.

In view of the information furnished by way of Email to the police authorities on 27th August, 2024, I am of the view substantial time has passed in the meantime. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the dispute and difference between the petitioner and the private respondents was in respect of the certain money transactions.

Be that as it may, since the police authorities till date has not acted, I direct that in case the petitioner submits a fresh application with the Officer-in-Charge, Chandrakona Police Station, the concerned police will

inquire and address the genuinity of the accusation and deal with the same in accordance with the law and outcome of the same may be informed to the petitioner within four weeks from the from the date of filing of such application.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 23205 of 2024 is disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
