Affidavit of compliance has been filed in court today by the alleged contemnor. It is seen that the alleged contemnor has complied with the order, violation whereof is alleged in the contempt application, although belatedly. Explanation has also been given as to why there was delay in complying with the order. Such explanation is accepted. Since the order has been complied with, there is no reason to keep the contempt application pending. Needless to say, if the petitioner is aggrieved with the reasoned decision dated November 23, 2020, she shall be at liberty to challenge the same in an appropriate proceeding before the appropriate forum.

Accordingly, CPAN 1257 of 2019 is disposed of. (Arijit Banerjee, J.)
