The petitioner's prayer seeking higher scale of pay on enhancement of her educational qualification was forwarded by the school to the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Kolkata in the year 2012. The same is pending consideration till date.

Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the State is yet to receive instruction.

As it appears that the prayer of the petitioner is pending consideration for a considerable period of time, accordingly, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Kolkata to consider and dispose of the petitioner's prayer in accordance with law, at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order. 4.

If the prayer of the petitioner is allowed, then necessary remedial steps shall be taken without any further delay.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
