Main grievance of the petitioner is with regard to the inaction and non-action on the part of the respondent-authorities by not taking necessary steps to stop the illegal unauthorized alignment of buses by the operators in the Route no. KB-24 having alignment from Hatisala to Kolkata Station via Shyambazar, Khanna, Utadanga etc. being in clear violation to the original alignment. In terms of the notification of the Transport Authority the petitioner submits that already complaint has been lodged by way of a representation dated 17.7.2025 but till date it is pending for consideration. The respondent submits that there is no such violation and overlapping with the original alignment.

The petitioner is directed to make a comprehensive representation before the respondent no.4 within a period of seven days and the respondent shall consider the same and pass a reasoned order in accordance with law upon affording an opportunity of hearing to the concerned authorities within a period of 60 days from the date of submission of the representation and such decision shall be communicated to the parties accordingly within a week thereafter.

Since affidavits are not called for, the allegations made in this writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted by the respondents.

With the above observations, this writ petition, WPA 22744 of 2025 stands disposed of, without any order as to costs.
