Rakib CRM (DB) 3130 of 2024 With CRAN 1 of 2026 In Re: An Application for relaxation of condition of bail under Section 439(1)(b) of the Code of Criminal Procedure corresponding to Section 483(1)(b) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. And In the matter of : Sk. Ashraful Alam @ Raju Das Mr. Arnab Chatterjee Mr. Abhishek Mukherjee .....for the Petitioner.

In Re: CRAN 1 of 2026 Learned advocate for the petitioner is present. However, none appears on behalf of the State.

There were two conditions imposed on 19.12.2024 when the bail was granted to the petitioner which are as follows:

1) Petitioner shall remain within the territorial jurisdiction of Barrackpore Police Station, until further orders

2) The petitioner shall report/meet to the Officer-inCharge/Inspector-in-Charge of Barrackpore Police Station on every alternate date, until further orders. So far as the meeting the Officer-in-Charge/Inspector-inCharge of Barrackpore Police Station is concerned, the same is modified to the extent that the petitioner shall meet with the Officerin-Charge/Inspector-in-Charge of Barrackpore Police Station once in a fortnight till further orders of this Court.

With the aforesaid observations CRAN 1 of 2026 is disposed of.

All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
