The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that its application for holding Durga Puja made on the 'AASAAN' portal has not been decided by the SubDivisional Officer, Tamluk till date. In these circumstances, the Sub-Divisional Officer, Tamluk shall immediately upon receipt of a copy of this order take a decision within 24 hours on the petitioner's application in accordance with law. For the aforesaid purpose the petitioner shall be entitled to approach the Sub-Divisional Officer, Tamluk in course of the day.

Needless to mention, the petitioner shall comply with all formalities as required for the purpose of any formal permission for holding of Durga Puja as per the norms of the State.

The order of this Court may be communicated on the letterhead of the petitioner's advocate on record.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
