Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today is taken on record.

The petitioners are aggrieved by the price notification dated 27th July, 2022 issued by the Eastern Coalfields Limited.

Specific contention of the petitioners is that the petitioners would not be liable to make any payment in terms of the price notification.

Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that the petitioners approached the authorities verbally intimating that the said notification would not be applicable in their case, but there is nothing on record to suggest that the petitioners challenged implementation of the subject notification on them.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of with the observation that it will be open for the petitioners to make written representation before the authority highlighting their grievances and disclosing as to why the said notification will not be applicable in their case.

In the event any such representation is made, the same shall be considered by the authority in

accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to all necessary parties, if required. 7.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
