Mr. Indranil Halder ... for the petitioner Ms. Sreemoyee Mitra ... for the CESC The grievance of the petitioner is directed against refusal of the CESC Limited to provide an alternative electricity connection to the petitioner. Pursuant to an earlier order of Court, a Report dated 17th February, 2025 is filed in Court. It appears from the Report that the grievance of the petitioner cannot be resolved on the ground that the same would amount to splitting of load. In addition, there is no technically feasible space in the existing service position for installation of any further meter.

In view of the nature of the disputes raised by the parties, WPA 22793 of 2025 stands disposed of by directing the concerned Grievance Redressal Officer to consider the grievance of the petitioner and dispose of the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of

this order and after giving right of hearing to both the parties.
