1. Petitioner seeks modification of the order dated November 28, 2018 passed in CRM 9693 of 2018 subsequently modified on August 31, 2022.

2. Learned Senior Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner is a social media influencer and requires to travel to Dubai for the purpose of making reels in order to promote a particular hotel in Dubai. He submits that, petitioner requires ten days time for such purpose. Petitioner is willing to travel to Dubai for ten days during the period as may be fixed by the Court. He points out that, the passport of the petitioner expired and that, today is the date fixed for the purpose of interview of the renewal of the passport.

3. Learned Advocate appearing for the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) submits that, the petitioner did not submit any specific programme for the purpose of travel. He opposes the prayer.

4. 35 grams of Ganja said to be belonging to the petitioner was seized by the NCB from a post office. The Ganja was seized from a postal packet which was addressed to be delivered to the petitioner is said emanate out of the country. Seizure was made at a post office.

5. Petitioner seeks to go abroad for his professional work. Passport of the petitioner expired. Court is informed that, today is the date fixed for the interview of the renewal of the passport. Court is informed that, the passport is with the petitioner.

6. In such circumstances, petitioner is permitted to appear at the interview for the purpose of renewal of the passport.

7. Petitioner is permitted to travel to Dubai for a period of ten days on the dates of his choice.

8. Petitioner will inform the learned Trial Court where the trial is in progress as to the dates of his travel to Dubai and back.

9. Petitioner will adhere to the schedule as given to the learned Trial Judge.

10. Father of the petitioner will deposit a sum of Rs.5 lakhs with the Court of the learned Trial Judge by way of a fixed deposit.

11. Petitioner will also furnish security of a like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Judge.

12. Both the fixed deposit and the security may be returned to the father of the petitioner and the petitioner respectively upon the petitioner returning to India.

13. Petitioner will return the passport and keep the same deposited with the learned Trial Judge immediately on his return.

14. Petitioner will provide the mobile phone number which will be working in Dubai prior to his travel to Dubai before the learned Trial Judge.

15. Petitioner will also furnish the details of the place where he will be residing at Dubai to the learned Trial Judge.

16. All other terms and conditions of the order granting bail will remain the same.

17. IA No.: CRAN 3 of 2024 in CRM 9693 of 2018 is disposed of accordingly.
