Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is directed to serve copy of this revisional application upon Ms. Sujata Das, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears for the State. Her appointment may be regularised by the concerned authorities.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that in spite of being acquitted in the main case, the petitioner is facing the trial in connection with Kotwali Police Station Case No. 598 of 2018 in which charge-sheet was submitted under Section 195A of the Indian Penal Code. Having regard to the fact that the present case is a consequential case and the petitioner has been acquitted in the main case, I direct the learned trial court to fix at least one date in every 45 days so that trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time keeping in mind that there are six witnesses to be examined by the prosecution.

All efforts be taken to conclude the trial by 31.01.2025. With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 3631 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
