The present application has been preferred for expeditious disposal of Misc. Case No. 230 of 2021 which is a proceeding under Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Having regard to the purpose for which the legislature has incorporated such provisions, I direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, 3rd court, Contai, Purba Medinipore to dispose of the application for interim maintenance within three months from the date of the communication of this order. An opportunity be give for exchange of affidavit of assets by both the parties within 15 days from date of the communication of this order. In case, further time is dragged by the opposite party, the learned Magistrate would proceed for deciding the interim application in accordance with law. Thereafter, the learned Magistrate would fix dates for the main proceedings and at least one date in a month be fixed so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a

reasonable period of time.

. With the aforesaid observations, the present revisional application being CRR 3616 of 2023 is disposed of. Pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.
