1. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be taken on record.

2. The petitioner complains of alleged inaction on the part of the Shakespeare Sarani Police Station in addressing his complaint dated 24th August, 2022.

3. Counsel for the police submits that the respondent no.4/Bank has filed a complaint against the petitioner which is pending consideration before the 19th Metropolitan Magistrate, Kolkata. He further submits that the petitioner has challenged the said proceedings in C.R.R. No. 3226 of 2022.

4. This Court is of the view that the petitioner has remedy under Section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, which he may be availed.

5. The report of the Additional Officer-in-charge, Shakespeare Sarani Police Station dated 21st November, 2022 in the form of instructions addressed to the State Advocate filed in Court today be taken on record.

6. With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

7. There will be no order as to costs.

8. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
