1. Learned Counsel for the state has filed the report of the Inspector-in-Charge, Mr. Pradip Paul, let it be taken on record.
2. Learned Counsel for the state submits that statement of wife/complainant has been recorded. She has stated that the matter has been amicably settled.
3. Learned Counsel for the state has filed a detailed report of the Inspector-in-Charge Mr. Pradip Paul in connection with G.R. Case No. 489 of 2019 arising out of Mohanpur Police Station Case No. 126 of
dated 20.07.2019 under Sections 498A/494/325/406/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.
4. Mr. Pradip Paul has filed the detailed report in connection with G.R. Case No. 659 of 2019 arising out of Mohanpur Police Station Case No. 222 of dated 19.07.2021 under Sections 498A/494/307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and the complainant in both the cases are same.
5. It has been submitted that Ms. Namita Bera @ Mr. Ashoka Bera is not an accused in Mohanpur Police Station Case No. 222/2021. In the police report the statement of the wife complainant has been recorded wherein she has amicably settled the matter with all the petitioners without any fear, force or coercion.
6. Mr. Parimal Maity the husband and complainant Ms. Gouri Maity have stated that they have undertaken to be bound by the settlement.
7. Investigating Officer, Mr. Swapan Kr. Acharjee has duly identified the parties.
8. Since it is matrimonial dispute both have settled the matter, is taken on record.
9. In view of the settlement, the Mohanpur Police Station Case No. 222/2021 under Sections 498A/494/307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Mohanpur Police Station Case No. 126 of 2019 dated 20.07.2019 under Sections
498A /494 /325 /406 /506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 and all the proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Parties are held bound by their settlement.

Personal appearance of the Investigating Officer is dispensed with.

The accused persons and their sureties also stand discharged from bail bonds.

The petition stands disposed of.
