The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher in Political Science of Khanpur High School (HS), Bagnan, District: Howrah.

The petitioner applied for general transfer under the 'Utsashree Portal' but her application has been returned from the school's end with the remarks that she is a single teacher in Higher Secondary Section and the school cannot arrange for substitute in her place, the petitioner, however, after return of her earlier application has applied under the said Portal again. This Court does not find any reason to interfere with the impugned decision, besides the Portal is now under suspension, as such, there is no scope for consideration of the petitioner's pending application for general transfer. WPA 22900 of 2022 is therefore dismissed without any order as to costs.
