Petitioners are directed to serve a copy of the revisional application upon Mr. Imran Ali, learned advocate who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State. His appointment may be regularized by the concerned Authorities in due course. The subject matter of challenge relates to Serampore Women P. S. Case No. 18 of 2023 dated 14-04-2023 under Sections 498A/406/504/120B of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowery Prohibition Act.

The said case is pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Serampore, Hooghly.

Learned advocate for the petitioners has drawn the attention of this court to the statement of witnesses under Section 207 of the Code of Criminal Procedure as also the FIR and the chargesheet.

Having regard to materials so appearing in the evidence collected by the Investigating Agency, I am not inclined to interfere at this stage. However, petitioners would be at liberty to agitate such points canvassed in this revisional application at the stage of Sections 239/240 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Learned Magistrate would dispose of such application in accordance with law without being influenced by any observations made by this court while disposing of this revisional application. . With the aforesaid observations, the present revisional application being CRR 3622 of 2023 is disposed of. Pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.
