Only on 22nd August, 2023 petitioner filed an application before the respondent No.3, the Sub-Divisional Agricultural Development Officer, Bongaon in the district of North 24-Parganas for issuance of a new Retail Certificate of Registration of Fertilizer in favour of the petitioner. The petitioner does not know about the fate of the said certificate during this one year, so the petitioner has filed the instant writ petition praying for a direction upon the respondent No.3 so that he may consider his application at an early date. It appears from the record that the application was filed only on 22nd August, 2023. The petitioner ought to have waited for sometime

to see as to whether the respondent No.3 allows his application or not. However, the petitioner has filed the instant writ petition out of apprehension.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the instant writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.3 to consider the application filed by the petitioner in accordance with law within one month from the date of communication of the order. (Bibek Chaudhuri, J.) Mithun.
