Petitioners are senior citizens and are the in-laws of respondent no. 6. A criminal case has been registered being Entally PS Case No. 209 dated 19.08.2025 under sections 126(2)/115(2)/351(2) of the BNS.

Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the medical reports which are enclosed do underscore the consequences for which the case has been registered by Entally Police Station. There are specific allegations against the respondent no. 6. On the other hand, learned advocate appearing for the respondent no. 6 submits that earlier WPA 21338 of 2025 was preferred wherein this Court has dealt with the issues of

inflicting torture and the registration of Entally PS Case No. 225 dated 10.09.2025 at the behest of the respondent no. 6. A family feud is expressly made out from the records of the case.

Police authorities have already registered cases at the behest of the petitioner no. 2 as well as the respondent no. 6.

Having regard to the grievance presently addressed by the petitioners, I direct that the petitioners being senior citizens will file a representation to the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Entally Police Station. The concerned Superior Officer would assess whether the consequences which have been incorporated in connection with Entally Police Station Case No. 209 dated 19.08.2025 have been understated or underscored.

In case any deviation is found by registration of the FIR and a substance is found in respect of the accusations and the accompanying medical documents, steps be taken in accordance with law.

Learned advocate for the State submits that in case notices under section 35(3) of the BNSS are issued, proper acknowledgement be endorsed by the

investigating officer to both the parties in connection with the respective cases.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 22968 of 2025 is disposed of.
