And In Re: Shibu Singha Petitioner Miss. Riya Das For the Petitioner Mr. Arindam Sen Miss. Sreetama Das For the State 1.

Claiming parity with the co-accused person namely, Khudu Singha @ Dibyendu Singha @ Subendu Singha, who has been granted anticipatory bail in CRM(A) 2678 of 2024 on 6th August, 2024, a prayer for anticipatory bail is made.

2. The said prayer is not opposed by the learned Counsel for the State.

3. Under such circumstances, we are of the view that the custodial interrogation of the present petitioners is not necessary.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the present petitioner, namely, Shibu Singha, shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/-, with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 corresponding to Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Signed By :

Suraksha Sanhita. The petitioner shall appear before the Jurisdictional Court within two weeks from date and thereafter shall appear on each and every date fixed for appearance of the accused and in default the Jurisdictional court will pass appropriate order to secure the presence of the petitioner in Court including cancelling the anticipatory bail granted without further reference to this Court.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is allowed.
